Did you reinstall the program following the instructions?
Does the message appear at the start or later?
1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.
2. Follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair.

Hello, I have downloaded the avs4you full version but cannot open the video converter. I get the Eaccess violation errror message. I have tried all your fixes but nothing works. I am on XP. I have sent 4 support emails since the 19th but no response. I need to convert a video today for my website or i am going to have to buy yet another program. This has been the most frustrating time. I have had a computer professional try to fix the problem but no success.

Can someone please help me!!! Georgia

Hello Georgia,

We apologize for the late response, there were technical problems on our server.

First of all please reinstall the whole AVS software suite including old programs following the instructions here.

If it does not solve the issue, please try disabling external codecs on your computer. The error may be caused by broken external video codecs. For it run reg file from the attached zip archive which disables external codecs in AVS Video Converter. Then try launching the program.

Please inform about the results.

Best regards.

I am new to using forums to solve my problems so forgive me. I have an AMD processor 3 core with 4 gig of ram. I am using windows 7 64 bit and just purchased avs4you. I installed and activated my license but in trying to start either video converter or video editor it stops and gives me a message of Eprivelige and will not go any further. The other programs seem to work except for these 2. Maybe this is a simple fix but I am lost.

Thanks

I did everything you suggested but no help. I ran the repair program and found 2 dll files would not work (AVSshellconverter64.dll and avsmobiledevice2activesync.dll) Any other suggestions.

Sorry for the delay.

This two dll's does not affect functionality of the program. So, it's ok if they are not loaded.

Have you got the message that reg file have been added to registry successfully?

Also, please specify your PC configuration - (operating system, CPU, Ram).

Best regards

I just started using the AVS Video Converter and kept getting the following error (see attached image or quoted error below) everytime I start converting any file to any format.

"Access Violation at address 00463C01 in module 'AVSVideoConverter.exe'. Read of address 00000000."

Hello,

As far as I can see you have old version 6.3. of AVS Video Converter. To avoid the problem please reinstall AVS software using the instructions here and download the latest version 7 from this link.

Best regards.

Just tried the repair option as listed above.

I get "cannot load library" on AVSMobileDevice2ActiveSync.dll". Everything else is ok.

I was having the same problem opening Video Converter 8. I updated my Combined Community Codec Pack and now the converter is working fine. You can find it here: http://www.free-codecs.com/combined_community_codec_pack_download.htm
