Ditto. I have the same problem with converting one particular DVD. No sync problem with playing that DVD in DVD player or from the VIDEO_TS directory on a HDD. But there is a ~6 seconds lag between video and audio tracks if that DVD is converted to a movie. No matter which output formats are chosen for video and audio.

Could you please specify the origin of your DVD? Is it commercial DVD movie bought in store or DVD from camcorder, DVD recorder?

Yes, it happens with the disk

Уже после титров, когда Подберезовиков раздает указания, рассинхронизация составляет около 3 секунд (видео впереди звука). Затем разница увеличивается до 6-7 секунд.

Hello,

Please make sure you use the latest version of AVS Video Converter 8.1:
http://download.avs4you.net/distributives/AVSVideoConverter.exe

Specify to which format you convert and which presets you select. Please also specify whether audio is out of sync in the preview window.

Best regards.

I have a similar problem even if I've installed the latest 8.1 converter.
I'm trying to convert a WMV to FLV (H.264/AVC) and i get the audio a fraction of a second out of sync.

Thanks

The problem exists for the AVS Video Converter 8.1 too. I've prepared the ZIP file containing attempts to convert first ~7 minutes of the movie mentioned in my previous message to MKV and AVI + screenshots with conversion settings (file's size is about 608 MB):

http://www.also.ru/AVS/AVS.zip

The audio runs ahead video for ~3 seconds just after titles in both cases (I was incorrect in my comment in Russian in my previous message).

The sample file is uploaded.
NB: I don't have the problem with this file only, I had it with all I tried to convert to FLV H.264 since I bought my license.
Thanks

You sure it is DVD9? not DVD5? In any case there must be vob files in your DVD. What is their size?

Hi All,

Bit of a newbie and trying to convert an AVI file onto a dvd, which has come out, out of sync.. I have added the screen shot below of my settings..

I'm a bit thick and also need advice on what to put as an output file address... I used to use Prism which automatically put the converted file (MP4) into my video folder as i stream my files into MP4 to watch over Apple TV... This doesn't seem to show the converted file anywhere. I'm assuming it's because I'm not putting an output file address... I tried "My Video" but this came back as a neddy no no..

Any newbie advice would be welcomed in an idiot proof way, would be mucho appreciated..

Thanks.

Hello,

Please provide some additional information:
- specify the origin of the file you are trying to convert;
- specify if the output video is out of sync if you select an other format/preset
- specify whether audio is out of sync in the preview window;
- attach a screenshot of your PC configuration: right-click My Computer, choose Properties, make a screenshot of the General tab.

Best regards.
