Im using a register version of AVS video Converter,
and every time i try to convert a video into a 3pg for my phone or just for my ipod
its always out of sync, the voice plays either before or after the video, i tried messing with the edit function
but still nothing!

this is really frustrating!

Hello,

To solve the issue, we need more information.

So, please:
1. Launch AVS Video Converter and choose the input file
2. Press To AVI button and select the preset
3. Double click on Advanced button
4. Make a screenshot of the file information and send it to us.

To solve the issue, we also need the file you used for the conversion. Please upload it to our FTP.
Please check your mail for the FTP details.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I can fix a flash file with its audio out-of-synch? I'm guessing this is a common (certainly, not uncommon) problem but I haven't yet seen a simple solution that works. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, using our software it is not possible to correct desynchronized files.

Best regards

Thanks, Nadin. I kind of figured that, but wasn't certain. Anyway, what I just did was to convert my .flv file to .avi and then edit the .avi file in Vegas (where I can see the video and audio streams separated in the timeline) and dragged the audio stream in until it matched....and then output to .mp4. It's not a particularly pretty solution, but it works.

I am looking at your software suite to replace another one and that is a rather key feature for me.

Are there any plans to implement a resynchronisation mechanism?

this is FYI for Softare Team : *SUPER*

I used the newpaper then pencil and old move effects
(or once even just ONE effect
(both with effects edits on or off)
and added text timeline as well

I seem to get this every time I add video effets
(either in Video Editor or in Video Converter)

happens with multiple video clips (@ 2mins each and 4 or 5 in a timeline)
with or without transitions)
or even with only one 5 min video

all my source videos came from same camera
(mpg files)
and alwasy set outputs to DVD NTSC (2 hour quality) normal settings
720x480

sure hope this gets fixed *CRAZY*

#1. I sent the 'bad' file
#2. ran some more tests
even converting withOUT ANY video effetcs - if you study REAL hard
there is a slight mismatch on new files
185Mpg becomes 85Mb mpeg

I tried ripple, and tv simulation and old movie - got just a couple small pauses and clips
still got less than 90Mbs

BUT

the Newsprint - (guess that is teh REAL killer)
really has TONS of glitches and stayed at 185 Mb

I use standard outputs
file -> mpeg ->DVD NTSC standard play DVD 720x480)

all FYI

(I can send you the original MPG if you want)

Thanks for the file, I see that the video was created incorrectly. But, actually we need the original video file, so that we could do the appropriate testing. Please could you send it to us as well.

Thank you in advance

Please first make sure you are using the latest version of AVS Video Converter. You can update AVS files following Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > AVS Update Manager.

Try to playback your mkv files in a player in order to make sure they are correct, also please specify their size and origin.

Hope to hear from you soon

I did the update but i'm still having the same issue. the file is 4.37gb. the file does play, it plays in vlc media player. the main thing is, it doesn't even try to convert. when i goto browse and click on the file the program just locks up to a not responding state. after some time it gives me a msg saying access violation at address 045FD548 in module 'AVSMatroskaFile3.dll'. Read of address 00000000.

Please close all AVS programs, then unzip and save the .dll attached to the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX

If you are asked whether you would like to overwrite the existing .dll, click on Yes.

Then run the Repair utility in order to register the .dll:
1. Close AVS Video Converter and all other running programs and applications.
2. Next follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair.

Please inform me whether the problem persists after saving the new .dll.

(The .dll has been deleted, as it has been included into the latest update. Update AVS files following Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > AVS Update Manager)
