Hello Simeon,

AVS Video Converter installation file has all the necessary codecs for proper functionning of the software. So, that's not an issue.

As for the FLV file, I downloaded it. That is out of sync, that is obvious.

But to help you to solve that problem, we need an original file input file. Please give us the link to it, or try to attach a part of the video.

Using Orbit http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ which can download FLV video from You Tube and other sources I captured the video from here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMVJY3xzV8E

You can then play back the FLV in this stand alone player here:
http://www.wimpyplayer.com/products/wimpy_standalone_flv_player.html

Played back either on You Tube or on the stand alone the video is in sync.

Thanks for looking into it.

Just updating this.

Looking at this the bug also would come into play with the other video software using the same type of import function.
I also looked at the same video in the video editor and authoring and it was out of sync as well. This might be due to using the same libraries in the multiple programs.

Best,
Simeon

It might be good to update the support ticket on this issue as well in my account.

Hello Patrick,

Please try to play the encoded video on your PC and inform us about the result. Does it have the audio delay?

If yes, please attach a sample of the AVI video file and precise the preset you choose for the convertion to MP.4

Hope to hear from you soon.

I can play the encoded file on my pc and once again the audio is delayed.
Presets I used were 3GPP Mobile Highest Available Quality (MPEG4 near 104 kbps 15fps 176x144 AAC)
i Chose MPEG4 DIVX XVID Compatible for the video codec and MPEG2/4 Audio.

Thanks for your assistance

Thank you for the information. But to reproduce the error we have to have a sample of the origin video, you use for the conversion.

Unfortunately we did not receive the attached file.

In fact, you can upload the file to our FTP server. I will sent you the FTP information on your e-mail.

Today I registered and downloaded AVS Video ReMaker 2.4. Following the tutorial “How to edit DVD video with AVS Video ReMaker?” , I have successfully deleted all the scenes not required but have lost the sound from the 2nd scene onwards. What have I omitted to do?

The video I’m editing is content downloaded from a TV programme in Windows Media Movie (WMA) format.

I cannot upload rhem to you since you have a 110 Meg limit. As you know there aren't many videos smaller than 10 Megs, even flvs.

Well, I thought I'd trim down an FLV file to under 10 Meg and attach that, but Video Remaker doesn't supprt this format.

This is now 3 of your programs which don't work!
