Caleb:
My problem is also very similar to the rest, that is, no lip sync. However, I use the converter to convert MTS files to FLV files. Do you have a fix for it. It's very important to me as I am working on a project that will eventually involve over a hundred hours of recordings.

My input file has no problem. The video and audio are well-synchronised. As for the output file (3minutes), the the audio seems to be 0.2-0.5 second in front of the video. The problem will be more obvious as the video becomes longer.

Hi, when I create an AVI file from a VCD source the sound starts out syncronized but gets out of sync further into the movie. What is causing this?

Please attach a screenshot with the input and output settings. Open the source file in AVS Video Converter, click on Advanced > File Information and make a screenshot of this window.

Thank you in advance

As I told you in my messages that you deleted off of forum, messages you did not want a potential customer to see, I do not have software that does screen shots. I should not have to purchase software to illustrate to you what your program is not doing right. Version 4 worked just fine, what did you do to it? Please send me a link to the latest version or patch or something because as far as I know I already tried to download a later version this weekend and it did not work either. How on earth could you be having the same problem for 17 or 18 months? Please send me a link to your latest version, I will try it and if that does not work I would like a refund and I will go to Best Buy.

Okay per your request I went to your website and downloaded the version that said it was the latest 3/27/09 pardon the American convention. March 27, 2009. Video and Audio still out of sync. Do you have a later version than that?

Do not continue to ask me to purchase software that illustrates your softwares problem. I do not have screen shot software! I am not doing anything that I did not do in version 4. I clicked browse I selected the flv file(s) I wanted to convert, I clicked on the advance button only if I had more than one to convert, and chose split if I wanted them seperate. I then clicked convert. Thats all that version 4 required of me and that is all that version 6 should require for my needs.

Why don't you send me a link to version 4 and I will re-install it. Like I said before it mysteriosly stopped working, which was probably in sync with your newer version hitting the market, it worked just fine.

Ths problem has been around for 18 months and you are still asking your clients to perfrom your programmers work. (send us a screen shot) In 18 months haven't you gotten enough screen shots to straighten this out. There are certainly 4 pages of individuals having the same problem going back 18 months.]-:)*SOS*

Actually you do not need one. In order to make a screenshot, you can simply follow these steps:
- press PrtScn to copy the screenshot to the clipboard;
- open a graphics editing program (e.g. Microsoft Paint, select Start\Run..., enter 'mspaint' and press OK to start it);
- press Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot from the clipboard;
- save the image in PNG or JPEG format;
- attach the image file to your message.

The out of synch problem can happen due to specification of particular files. Files have different parameters, that`s why we ask our users to send us an example of their file, so that we could correct the issue. Usually, our developers manage to resolve such problems in a short period of time.

michael7998@a...:
Please send me a link to your latest version
Here it goes. The latest version of AVS Video Converter is currently v.6.2.5.334. You can also use AVS Update Manager in order to update AVS files. You can find it in Start > Programs > AVS4YOU.

We would insistently recommend you using the latest version, as some major bug have been corrected since the v.4 was released. We are really looking forward to resolving the problem that you have and would appreciate your cooperation in this matter. However, in order to correct the issue, we`d need the source file and the output file settings used during conversion. We`d appreciate if you send this information to us using the instruction submitted on the support page.

Hope to hear from you soon

First make sure you are using the latest version of AVS Video Converter. In order to update AVS files follow Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > AVS Update Manager.

If this does not help, we'd need a screenshot with the input and output settings. Open the source file in AVS Video Converter, click on Advanced > File Information and make a screenshot of this window. Attach it here.

Apart from that, we'd be glad to receive your source AVI file for testing. Please check up the support page for more information.

Best regards

We'd recommend updating the software from time to time, in order to avoid problems.

I experience major sync issues when converting from DVD video format to anything else. I've tried DVD to flash, mov, wma, avi, and mpeq with six different videos. All files converted with AVS have sync issues that the original content did not have. I have tried custom setting and presets.

Can you please help?
(screenshot attached for one attempt that resulted in out of sync voice)

Thanks

The files have been uploaded to your FTP server. Are you able to reproduce the issue?

Wow, So far I have had nothing but problems with getting this software working, I sure would like things to be fine so I can be one of the people that say " go get this program, it worked for me".

Unfortunatly I can't.

I have converted from m2ts to avi, mpg2, and wmv, all in HD 1080p, and 720p. And no matter what, they all come out bad, The audio is so delayed i feel like im watching a 1963 kung fu movie.

The 2 minute movies dont seem to have it as bad, but the 45 minute movies get horrible.

Is there anyone that knows how to fix this?

Thank you for the files. The movie you have sent has been converted using the current version of AVS Video Converter without any desynch problems, so please try reinstalling the program. Download it from our website anew and install. This must solve the problem.

Try saving the latest .dlls available in post#5401 of this thread. If this does not help, we'd need an example of the file you have failed to convert successfully, as such problems might persist WRT particular files.

Best regards
