OK, I did this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Go Start> All Programs> AVS4YOU> Uninstall.

2. Go Start> Run... Print regedit in the opened window and click Ok. In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:)>> Documents and Settings>> All Users>> Application Data>> AVS4YOU (delete it).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Then, as an adminstraot, I installed VideoConverter6 and unchecked install the runtime files. Then I opened the program and IT WORKED. Then I installed the rest of the programs and reopened Video Converter and go the MSVCRT error again!
I reinstalled VideoConverter this time with the runtime files. The MSVCRT error was still there.

Since the Video Converter worked initially but failed after your other programs were installed it seems to me that one of the other programs is in conflict!

Hello,

Thank you for the information.

dondyer:
All but one dll succeeded.

That dll does not influence the convertion process. Never mind.

Please inform us what AVS software you have installed together with AVS Video Converter 6. There may occur some soft conflict.

Hello,

If we are talking about AVSMobileDevice2ActiveSync.dll , I should say, that this .dll does not influence the convertion process. That gives an error, as that dll is responsable for the mobile device, which at the moment was not connected to your PC.

If not, please precise the unregistered dll.

You can also make some search on the forum to find the solution to the issue. As AVSMobileDevice2ActiveSync.dll issue was already discussed. Here it is the link.

Hi,

I'm having problem using AVS Video Editor. When I get up to the final stage where you choose your output directory and press 'Produce', an error message comes up: "access violation at address 005B2018 in module AVSVideoEditor.exe' Read of address 0000000"

My copy is a registered version and it has worked well before and I didn't change any setting or anything.

Thanks

Grace

Make sure that you are working with the latest version of the program
Reinstall the software following the instructions.

1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.
2. Follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair.
If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.

I have converted several .MOV files in the past. But the most recent file that I attempted gives me an error message "Access violation at address 7C9101B3 in module 'ntdll.dll' Write of address 00750045." I am using AVS Video Converter 6.4.4.420. The .MOV file is 1.44GB in size.

I had the same error and downloading the newstest Version 7 worked great (so far). It wasn't showing that I needed an update when I ran the AVS updater though. I didn't even know there was a version 7! Does the updater catch new versions? :)

Thanks!
