Dear Vlad,

Video Editor 5 is not available for download because AVS chooses not to make it available for download.

Vlad,

The fix appears to work:

Editing a 2GB *.m2ts file
Rendering it via 3-passes to the PS3 720P (H.264) *.MP4 output file format.

I'm repeating this now on an 8GB file and will soon tackle a 16GB file.

I'll post here if there are further issues.

Vlad,

thanks, this fixed also my current problem. I noticed before, it happen about 4.25GB
of Memory-usage. So I upgraded to 16GB Memory .... but with this patch the memory
usage get not above 4.20GB anymore. Did we have a 32bit prob. in this Code ??

I currently run a Quad 3.16GHz with Vista Home Premium, Service Pack2, which
should be able to use the full amount of Memory, or ? Any plans to fix this ?

Hello,

Please note, AVS4YOU software, except for AVS Antispam and AVS Firewall, is compatible with Windows 64 bit. Specify what you mean by "which
should be able to use the full amount of Memory, or ? Any plans to fix this ? "

Best regards.

Hello,
We are sorry for the delay.

You can save your project in AVS Video Editor.
To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link:
http://support.avs4you.com/GetFile.aspx?DocumentID=168498-647
and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website:
http://avs4you.com/downloads.aspx
Now install the software on your PC anew.

If it does not solve the issue please contact us again and specify your PC configuration (OS, CPU, Ram).

Best regards.

I attached the testing video.

The steps to reproduce the issue is very simple:
1. open AVS Video Editor
2. Import this video to media librar
3. Bang! a window pops up saying that AVSVideoEditor stops working.

Thanks.

I can work around this issue by converting the mp4 file to another video format then
AVS Video editor can work fine with the non-mp4 video file.
