Hi,

I installed Video Remaker earlier today, then tried to use Video Editor(4), which I use everyday without issues.
I got an access violation error message, when I tried to create a video.

After browsing this forum, I decided to to the repair, which showed an issue with avsH264codec.dll (and I other I can't remember, but it was a mobile one). I figured this issue had to be cause by some kind of incompatibility after installing Video Remaker, so I uninstalled Video Remaker - no joy. Then I installed the latest version of Video Editor(5.2) - and the problem was solved!

My question now is do you think the problem was caused by running the older Video Editor with the newer Video Remaker? In other words, would it be safe now to reinstall Video Remaker, or is there some known incompatibility issue b/w these 2?

OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit - if this helps at all.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

We recommend uninstall previous versions of our program before installing new ones when there are major updates to avoid compatibility problems.

Best regards.

Any .ts file larger than about 1.5GB will cause an access violation error -
"Access violation at address 6f67500a in module msvcr80.dll. Write of address 00000000"

Sometimes the error occurs in AVSTScore4.dll

Files smaller than 1.5GB open and decode without issue.
Is this a known bug?

Some progress to report.
If I use tsremux to convert the .ts file to m2ts format, the new m2ts file is still exactly the same video and audio format [mpeg2 + dolby ac3 3/2] with the same bit rates and video sizes etc as the original .ts file, but video converter opens the new m2ts file instantly and without error.
The only two differences I see with the files is different video/audio pid's and different packet size - 188 bytes for .ts and 192 bytes for .m2ts.

It may have something to do with the ac3 audio stream, as a 6gb hi def .ts video but with mpeg audio stream also opens in video converter quickly and without error.

We worked out a solution.

Please download the attached AVSTSCore4 and AVSTSFile3 dll's and place them following:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX

Then run Repair function:
Start>> All Programs>> AVS4YOU>>Repair

Please inform us about the result.

(The .dlls have been deleted, as they have been included into the latest update. Update AVS files following Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > AVS Update Manager)

I am having the same problem. I installed the Avs4you Converter last week. I was able to convert a few files larger than 1.5GB and now all of a sudden I am getting an error that the M2TS file format is not support. Even for the ones I sucessfully converted.

I am installing the updated dll's however I cannot find the repair program the the directory you stated. Please advise.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply :)
Tried the new files but the problem is still the same - slightly worse in one regard.
With the original files, the progress bar would finish then about 10 seconds later the error would occur.
With the new files, the progress bar gets to about 80% then stops, a few seconds later windows reports "not responding" in the title bar then a few more seconds later the error occurs.

Total time taken from start to error message is about 1 min on my system [2GB test file]
Mpegs of any size open almost instantly [perhaps expected?]
Repair is always 100% [except mobile of course]

Hi, did you email the ftp link? Not here as yet.
2GB is a large file to transfer, no problem for me if it's no problem for you.

I am getting this same crash "Access viollation at address 023573D0 in module 'MSVCR80.dll'. Write address 00000000".
I tried everything in this forum. I recently updated to 6.3 and had issues importing and viewing some .mov files.
I never had problems with older versions of the software and have always been a big supporter of AVS, but I can't get around this problem and have big projects that are being held up.

Comlete removal
New install
Repair
Registry Cleaner
and don't clear direction on the codec solution.
It seems to happen during the save. I thought it was just crashing and then realized the auto save was activated.

I need this to work or have to move to a different software today.

Dear User,

Please specify if you used the following utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC:
http://support.avs4you.com/GetFile.aspx?DocumentID=168498-647
Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

After that try to download and install the latest versions of AVS Video Editor.

If you still get any problems after that please specify:
- describe your actins step by step and specify the moment the problem occurs,
- specify the format and origin of the files used in the project,
- specify what effects, overlays, media files are used in the project and how big is the video created,

Please also specify if while repairing AVS files you got any problem .dll (marked red).

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

I am getting the same error. I bought this UNLIMITED product in 2008 but a few days ago it pulled the plug on me. I had to uninstall and install and activate, all the while losing precious business time. Now it gives me this error message 00463C01. What a headache. What is the solution?

You do not need to find any AVS4YOU folders on your PC, please only download the application clicking here and run it on your PC.

After that download and install the latest version of AVS Video Converter.

I have send you the steps on how to activate the software afterwards in AVS4YOU Support System.

Please inform about the result.

Kind regards
