Could you please provide the following information:
- Attach a screenshot of the Advanced window of the program showing input and output file information.
- Specify whether you see the progress bar when loading the file into the program.
- Please send us a part of the m2ts file you have failed to convert (for the further information, please check up the support page).
- Does the problem persist no matter to which format you convert this file or when you convert to WMV only?

Looking forward to hearing from you

Hello again,
The anaswers to your question are as follows:
1) see attached doc
2) Progress bar appears progress stays at 0.00% however elapsed time continues to increase
3) See ftp site file wayne-harper.zip
4) All formats. Only occurs when a large m2ts file added as an input

wayne214:
1) see attached doc
Unfortunately, the file has not been loaded here, please could you re-attach it.

Do you mean the progress bar you see when the file is being loaded into the program or the conversion progress bar? Actually I meant the first. Please coud you be more specific.

Thank you in advance

Have re-upped the file and have doubled checked the file is there.
The file loads straight into the input section it is only when conversion starts that the error occurs.

Nadin, could this be the same issue I am experiencing. Recall that my file is 26Gig. I have tried small files and they work, but not the 26Gig version.

Unfortunately, the archive you have uploaded to FTP seems to be damaged. The one you have uploaded the second time cannot be opened either. Please could you resend the files unzipped.

Also it is impossible to open avs advanced.docx file you have attached here in this thread, probably the file was not uploaded correctly. Please could you save the screenshot in JPEG or PNG format and attach it here again.

Thank you

No, this must be a different problem. We'll inform you as soon as your files are tested.

I have now added the requested screenshot in png format. I have also, yet again, started to upload the files (unzipped) to your website.

Hopefully it will work this time.

Hey is there a way that I can get the procedure for this fix from anyone?

I'm having a similar problem with .m2ts files and your fix might solve my issue.

Thanks!

I'm suffering the same problem. The convertion of Big .ts files is always ending in an application crash in module: MSVCR80.dll.
Is there a fix available for this?

robert@servicexp.com:
The program keeps crashing anywhere between 20 - 80% into conversions.

I have un-installed, and re-installed per this forums instruction, and still no dice.. There is no problem with the files (mostly .ts), as Xilisoft Video Converter converts them with no problem. I purchased this program because it uses WMA Pro to encode 5.1 audio, which is required for XBox 360 5.1 playback..

I have sent 3 support msg.(starting on the 17th) and have not receive 1 response.

I just purchased the software and get the same typical crash when it is from %50 to %98. And these are 4 hour converts so it takes a LONG time.

That`s really great news! :-)
And yes, please let us know in case you face any further problems.

Yep, it is indeed fixed. My 13 Gig .ts file was converted with no issues. I think we can close the book on this one...

Can you send me what fixed it for you??

We'd need one of your original TS files for testing. Please upload it to our FTP. For the uploading instruction check up the support page.

Please find attached the new .dll. Unzip and save it to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX
If you are asked whether you would like to overwrite the existing .dll, click on Yes.

Then run the Repair utility in order to register the .dll:
1. Close AVS Video Converter and all other running programs and applications.
2. Next follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair.

That'd be great if you reported the result.

As far as I understand, the crash occurs when you convert a particular file only (or files from the same source), is this correct?
If so, could you possibly send us one of the problem files, so that we could reproduce the error. To find the instructions please follow to the support page.
