I followed your above instructions, plus rebooted after step 2. Video Editor 6.1.2.211 still crashes. The first crash yielded the "External exception EEEFACE" error. Error details for the second crash appear at the bottom of this message.

I apologize for not being clear about what I meant by "full de-install then re-install" -- I uninstalled, then deleted everything in the c:\Program Files (x86)\AVS4YOU directory and subdirectories, rebooted, then installed the latest copy of 6.1.2.211
I don't suppose you could make the last version of Video Editor 5 available for download while you continue your heroic efforts to track down the bug(s)?
