6.8 seconds the sound is out of sync

6.8 seconds infront of the picturescene

ntsc ive deleted those output but i remember its something like 9 - 13 seconds audio out of sync


im hopeing for the next release to have a feature in takeing a clip of the movie to convert and test it before making a full conversion of the movie , because it takes me 15 minutes for converting . im hoping aswell for a fix of audio sync feature 1 button to fix audio or manually by typing the time duration difference.

i am just wondering does AVS DVD Authoring have an option for editing my .VOB DVD files so ii can delay sound or position its time for start , the website doesnt explain its features clearly im not sure if it got that option , if it does i am happy to take this alternative until the issue is fixed with VC6.

sorry but my file is 1.4 GB , and i will be sending it overnight hopefully my connection dont fail while uploading , however if you can tell me if their is a possible way in triming the video and sending the trim because i cant find a way with VC6 , i got the full package but i didnt download video editor4 will that do it?

I am converting an AVI file that is a little less that 4 Gig, to Mpeg 1 format.

The AVI was created with a Canon 590 IS digital Camera.

After the conversion the Audio/Video are out of synch.

I have been trying for two days, adjusting settings and using different codecs, but I cannot it to work.

Hello Dondi,

Please try to change frame rate. For that:
Launch AVS Video Converter >> choose any MPEG 1 Preset >> press Edit profile and change frame rate from to 25fps.

Then reconvert the file once again. Inform me about the result.

I have a similar issue to that of Dondi, I have VOB files from a DVD-RW disk that can be viewed in Video Editor. Unfortunately, after a few seconds it becomes out of sync and when I try to convert it, it is out of sync from the start. I'm in the process of trying the solution given to Dondi. The file ends in .IFO and I'm converting it to VCD PAL compatible (MPEG1, 25fps) hoping this will work. Please advise if I'm on the wrong track.

As I have understood, the file you are trying to convert is out of sync initionally. In this case the problem can be hardly resolved by converting the file. If the source file is corrupted, this cannot be corrected by our software, unfortunately.

My problem is also very similar to the rest, that is, no lip sync. However, I use the converter to convert MTS files to FLV files. Do you have a fix for it. It's very important to me as I am working on a project that will eventually involve over a hundred hours of recordings.

Do you mean the files are desynchronized initially? Or does the problem appear after conversion?
If this is the second case, please attach a screenshot showing your input and output file parameters. Open the source file in AVS Video Converter, click on Advanced > File Information and attach a screenshot of this window.

BTW, make sure you are using the latest version of the program. To update AVS files please follow Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > AVS Update Manager.
