Hello

Something I have noticed with Video Converter. For some reason you can't use the crop scale feature with MP4 conversions. I am not sure if this is a bug or is by design; however, it is a bit annoying. What I am doing is using this program to scale videos to 1280x720 (I created a profile and saved for other projects) for wide screen. The source videos are only 480x360 and doing a size upscale creates a very thin matte bar on all sides. Normally you can use crop scale (set at 9) to remove them, but this is NOT the case under this configuration.

You can use the slider or program in the crop scale you want, but it does not change the video at all (not even when fully rendered). I think the ONLY way it works is in AVI converted videos (which I have verified). This to me does not make sense. EVERY video format should work with crop scaling.

So can someone explain why this is a thing with Video Converter 9.1?

Thanks

Dear KJEM,

Thank you for the information.

We will now test AVS Vidoe Converter and inform as soon as the issue is resolved.

For now you can try to use the Zoom effect for your .MP4 file formats.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards
