I have a need to keep all of my audio levels on both channels (audio in the main video line, audio in the audio mix line and any recorded audio in the line for voice recordings) consistent between -15dB and -6dB through out the entire video. I believe there are several ways and AVS programs to do this but I would like some advice as to which program or programs would be the best.

Also, what function does the RED Line that is found in the audio lines have? How is it used?

Thanks.

Also, in regards to the voice recording, is there a way to look at the recording in the audio editor so the signals can be looked at more closely and then edited? I have not found a way to do this.

Thanks.

I just found the answer to the voice recording question. You can use the audio recorder and then look at it in the audio editor. But, I am still wondering if you do the recording in the video editor can that recording be brought into the audio editor.

Thanks.

Dear user,

Sorry for the delay in reply.

You can edit the audio from both video and audio line, and from recorded voice line by clicking on the audio/video line - choose Audio - you can use any of the audio effects that changes frequency pattern of the audio file - Equalizer, Compressor, etc:
