Hello,
as far as I understand from the topic caption, you need to convert your ten-minutes DVD part for an iPhone.
This can be most easily done using AVS Video to GO program.
Simply download and install it, load the DVD video into it, select the part of the video you need, click the 'Next' button and select the iPhone profile at the next step.
The next step will let you select the destination path for your output video, then click 'Start' to begin conversion.
If you still have questions, you can read the AVS Video to GO Online Help for further information on this.
Best regards.

Hi, using the AVS Video Converter 6.2. I put in a DVD, chose the video_TS_IFO file. selected MP4, chose Apple Ipod. output filename c:\name... Clicked on Convert Now, it ticked over for about 5 seconds , conversion was complete. I checked the output file only 156 bytes copied... What is going wrong?

Hi,

Please repeat the procedure above:
babiepen:
I put in a DVD, chose the video_TS_IFO file. selected MP4, chose Apple Ipod. output filename c:\name...

Then press Edit button and try to preview the video you chose for the conversion.

Please inform me about the result.

Hello Patrick,

Unfortunately iPhone uploading is not supported by AVS software.

So, after you converted the video into iPhone/iPod supported format, you can upload it on your device using iTunes.

Best Regards

I am converting a video using the Apple iPhone/iTouch (H.264, 640x420) preset. Following the conversion, I can watch the .m4v video using Quicktime and iTunes, however in trying to move the video to my iPhone, iTunes tells me that the device does not support the file format.

Are there settings I need to change in the preset?

No way!

First make sure that you have Itunes latest update.
Just checked on 8.0.2.20 - all right. (have 2.2.1 firmaware)
Good luck!
