I tried checking the post below this because I saw that others have had problems recording video via screen capture, but it is locked. I've tried checking a couple of other posts regarding issues similar to this, but none of them seem to address how to specifically solve this problem.

I record my screen, either in FLV, WMV, or AVI. What should be 30 seconds of recording is more like 23 or some other arbitrary number. It's as if some frames are being lost while recording or compressed.

Please advise that this is a known issue and what steps I can take to solve it.

System specs are attached.

I am having this same problem. This really sucks because I spent my money to have a better program than WMM, but after all of the mishaps with the AVS editor, I have to always revert back to WMM. I make videos all the time for my Facebook fan page; and what should only take me 2 hours in AVS will end up being an all day all night hassle.

Okay, I'd figured out my problem: I was capturing footage from my screen where the resolution of the capture was too high for my PC or program. Example, most of my screen captures came from Youtube. Since I have captured in the lower resolution avail, everything seems to fall in sync.

Even when I record in a lower resolution, the video and audio is out of sync

Hello,

Please update drivers for your graphics card downloading them from the website of the manufacturer.

Best regards
