Hi, I am an Audible Audiobooks member and i want to put some of my audiobooks on Mp3 discs but Itunes won't let me burn them to Mp3 or take them out of itunes to convert them. Is there some way i can get them into one of your convertors? Some of these books are 60 hours long so i don't want to burn them as regular audio cds. I would appreciate any suggestions you can give me. Thanks.

Hi,

Unfortunately we do not work with audiobooks at all. So, that is impossible to convert audiobooks or split them into chapters. We neither have a software to take files from iTunes.

You can try to rename your .m4b to m4a and use AVS Audio Converter, to convert them to other audio format.

As for splitting, after the conversion, please use AVS Audio Editor to cut out parts of audio and save them to different files.

in my itunes all my audio books come in one lump no chapters is there anyone out there experianced,the same itunes does not seem bthered so i am asking else where

Does AVS file converter convert MP3 files into MP4b? If not can anyone recommend any other GOOD software that will do this. (Windows 7)

AVS Audio-converter creates the audio books, unfortunately, without chapter. I load first the mp3 files, these are, for example, 10 files. Then I select
the menu dot Production of the audio books and the file format m4b for the output. At last I select the option Construction 3 chapters. After the completion of the audio book and the import on my iPod only one file is to be heard without chapter. Wat is the problem?

I am having the same problem with the audio book converter not making the chapters. I am running AVS audio converter 6.3.

It looks like this thread is dead, but I am having the same issue. One bulk file, no chapters. I am running Audio converter 8.4 and have included a jpeg showing the settings I used and the bulk audio file playing on iTunes with no chapters. Any help is really appreciated.

Try to click on the Chapters button on your player on the screenshot, do you get any chapters there?

Hi, as I know, audiobook download from Audible can't play on unauthorized devices directly, so you should convert them to MP3 format and then transfer it to your MP3 player.

Hope it's helpful for you.

You may then wish to use AVS Audio Editor to Increase the volume levels and compress the dynamic range if you listen to them in the car as I do.

Is there a tool that combines audiobooks converting and chapters splitting? AVS audio converter can't achieve these 2 targets.
Now I am testing [other] audio converter. It seems to split an audiobook by chapters during the conversion. I will update the latest result when my test finished.
