I have recovered files using cgsecurity and managed to convert them into mpg. files using AVS Video Converter. I want to recover the sound - which format should I use to convert them in the Audio Converter ie.ARM, WAV etc.
Are the instructions from AVS Audio Converter correct ? Can anyone help please ?

Which format do the recovered files have? Why would you need to convert them to another format? Are they incorrect?

Please could you explain the problem in more detail. Also open one of these files in AVS Video Converter (the one recovered with CGSecurity), click on Advanced > File Information and attach a screenshot of this window.

We'll do our best to clear up this problem

Nadin, How do I attach a screenshot please ?

I have recovered the video files (recovered from the cgsecurity files) to mpeg and the video pictures are fine but I have no sound. About 3 evenings ago I managed to recover the sound using the Audio Converter but did not make a note of how I did it ! I have spent many hours since then trying to recover the sound but without success. In the Audio Converter there are a number of formats - which one should I use to recover the sound from the mpg video files ?

Will this information be of any use ?

Nadin,
I seem to have managed to solve the problem by following the instructions 'Converting to MPEG Format' and using the Profile Editor and 'customising' the settings. Fingers crossed !

That`s great news! Have you converted your videos changing audio codec parameters?
