Hello,

AVS Video ReMaker does not have Video Effects, Text options and it does not use video card for transitions. Please close AVS software and then follow the directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX and find AVSImageStudio3.dll. Check its version. If it is not 3.3.3.1575, please delete it and install the patch again. Again check dll version. If it's ok, try using AVS Video Editor.

Please inform about the results.

Best regards.

Sorry for the late response.

I'm asking you to do the folliwing - please download the attached zip archive and unpack it to the directory C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoEditor. (please backup old AVSVideoEditor.exe file to another directory). About a minute after AVS Video Editor froze, it will generate a error. Please attach a screenshot of this error.

Try setting 16 bit color quality and choose lower display resolution in display settings. Also, please update/reinstall drivers for your video card.

If it does not help, please specify the exact model of your video card.

Actually, some directx filters and GDI components are used by our software for video effects, transitions, texts. It can be that AVS Video Editor freezes working with text and effects on your computer because of these components.
