Sorry for not replying earlier!
Please could you send us the source AVI file for testing. The instruction has been sent to you on the support page.

Also make sure there is enough memory on your hard disc for saving the DVD.

Best regards

Thank you very much for the file. It has been tested by our testing team and they have not managed to reproduce the problem. We are really looking forward to resolving this issue, however, we'd need some more information.

So please:
1. After you convert the file to DVD, find the DVD saved on your hard disc. Does VIDEO_TS folder contain only VTS_01_1.VOB?
2. Try converting your AVI file to any other format, ex. WMV and inform us on the result.

Hope to hear from you soon

Nadin: I see that you are online and I hope you can help me out. I have the exact same problem as 'Easier'. I don't know what to do. I've read the entire posts of this subject where you were trying to help Easier, and it's exactly the same problem as she had. Did you ever find a solution? Currently I am trying to convert to WMV to see what happens.

I have purchased AVS Video Converter 6.2 and I want to convert a video taken with a phone (3G2 format) to a DVD. It says on the description of this software I am able to do that but I can't figure it out. Here is what it says the software supports:

Mobile video formats
(.3gp2, .3gpp, .3gp, .3g2, .mp4)

MP4 (inc. Sony PSP and Apple iPod)
3GPP
3GPP2

Can anyone help me with this? Thank you!

As I have understood, you are facing problems when converting 3G2 files to DVD, am I correct? Please find VIDEO_TS movie saved on your hard disc after conversion. Which files does the folder contain? Please specify their size.

Hope to hear from you soon

Please double-click on VIDEO_TS 6KB file (VIDEO_TS.IFO) to play the movie. Is the movie played?

If yes, try to burn this movie to a disc using AVS Disc Creator. Choose Burn DVD function and import the whole VIDEO_TS folder into the program. Here is the detailed instruction.

Best regards

To Nadin:
I got it to work. The only thing I did different this time was instead of just continuing on with the prompts from AVS to burn I instead right clicked on the converted VIDEO_TS file I had stored on my hard drive and selected 'send to AVS Video Burner'. For whatever reason, it burned correctly, it verified, and it plays on my TV DVD! Thanks!!

I know...that's great news! I still don't understand it or why that little change made it work, but it did. Hopefully it will help out someone else who is having problems. Thanks again!

I have a problem with the program. When I first had the program, I had no problem converting a movie to DVD and then burning it. Now everytime I used the "To DVD" Option to convert a movie, it will convert as usual, but when it is finished it will not burn to DVD. It always result in a coaster. I checked the Output folder and the whole VIDEO_TS folder consist only 140 MB, with only one .VOB file. It should've contain all the .IFOs and such, shouldn't it. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing some crucial components of the program?

The Profile I used is "DVD NTSC High Quality (HQ 60/108 min. at 1 DVD/DL DVD Disc)" then for Disc Type, I used "Standard DVD disc (4.7GB) 'shrink to 1 disc(s)'"

I am having the same issue with converting avi to vob as everyone else has been having. After converting there is only a vob file which plays just the audio of the converted file. I have tried following the advice from other posts but there doesn't seem to be a real solution to the problem. I have not had this problem until recently. i am running vista and I am an administrator. I convert the movie by browsing my avi movie files. It gets converted to my converted movie files folder. I usually convert HQ 60]108 but have tried others. I have tried other movie and smaller files. Nothing is working. I need assistance please.

Probably, somehow the program got corrupted.
Please completely reinstall AVS4YOU software. Instructions below:

1. Go Start> All Programs> AVS4YOU> Uninstall.

2. Go Start> Run... Print regedit in the opened window and click Ok. In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:)> Documents and Settings> All Users>>Application Data>AVS4YOU (delete it).

Now download the latest version from the Downloads page.

Do not hesitate to write back if the problem is not solved this way.
