Just purchased a license so I could convert some digital VHS capture from 16:9 back to 4:3 aspect ratio. The preview, the editor, and the resulting converted out put all stop playing video at the same point in the file, with the same frame "frozen" on screen, yet the sound continues to play as usual. I've tried a few different settings but can't seem to get around this. Feeling like I just wasted 100 bucks on useless software.
Input file is 3.75GB and 2h4m long...

I've read the response from the support manager.

The issue for me is that the AVS Video Converter application doesn't seem to be able to play my video beyond the the 1h 24m 11s mark. The image freezes on that frame, but the audio continues to play for the remaining ~40 minutes of the video. The entire video plays fine with windows media player. I also uploaded it to YouTube and it was loaded and plays just fine there as well.

I tried installing AVS Video Remaker, but that application has the same issue as the AVS Video Converter application.

The way I see it, the AVS Video application and the way it's reading my file is the problem.

Browsing through the forum it looks like someone else experienced a similar problem a while ago.

UPDATE: Working with Support, I was able to provide more sample videos experiencing the same problem and they were able to determine the problem is certainly with the file frame markup. After some back and forth they provided me with a patch to test and voila the issue is resolved. I expect that some future release of AVS Video Converter will include the fix and so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone else.
