The music track on my DVD has noise that occurs frequently as a sequence of beats that repeat at about 3-5 Hz. The beats are low amplitude with little higher frequency crackling, and they taper off in about 2-5 seconds. They don't seem to be caused by high amplitude or a particular range of frequency in the music, but they are clearly related to the music. It occurs during every piece in the music track.

The noise is not present in the Video Editor nor when the AVI file is converted to an MOV file.
The noise is present regardless of the speed at which DVDs are written.

Stumped.
