What is the device called that I need for connecting 3 speakers to 1 computer?
I'm not an audiophile, but I've been producing music in a DAW for a while on cheap headphones. Trying to get a proper speaker-based setup now but I'm stumped. I'm not sure if what I'm looking for is an audio interface, external sound card, DAC, receiver, amplifier, mixer, or simply just cables. I have 1 source of music: computer via 1/8" TRS out via a PCI-e soundcard in the back. I have multiple speakers:

RCA-input mid-range speakers, powered 2-piece unit

1/8" TRS generic computer/treble speakers with a 7" subwoofer, powered 3-piece unit

RCA-input subwoofer (100W 10"), powered

I did some A/B, B/C, and A/C testing with a TRS 2-way splitter and some RCA-to-TRS and the best sound is I feel is definitely with all 3 because each time I leave one out, it feels like a section of the range is missing out of my music.
