Using 'screen capture' for years both W7 and W10 both 64bit.
Never been able to finish with anything usable from any TV.
The video is jerky, no sound at all except my mouse clicks!

Has anyone ever had success please?

Dear user,
To get the output file of high quality please select the input file parameters like frame rate, frame size and bitrate for the output by clicking on the Advanced button after selecting the format. To check the input file parameters please right click on the video captured from the screen in media library - choose Properties.
You can also try to choose some other output file format.

Please specify what sound settings you select in screen capture.
