Hello,

the Audio Editor is that tool for me. Via marker and split file feature I separate one audio file in pieces. It works fine until the amount of marks exceeds 121.
The marks are not the problem, but the splitting allows not more than 121 marks, otherwise the programm crashes with "External exception E06D7363".

I removed all older versions of AVS programms and installed the newest Audio Editor only - the problem remains.

My question: Is there any limitation regarding the amount of splitted audio files?

My system: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 Bit, 32 GB RAM.

Thank you for your attention.

Dear user,

You may not have enough computer resources to process such a number of files.

However you can also try to reinstall the software following the instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

3. Download and install the latest versions of the program from our website and inform about the result please:

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

Thank you very much for your fast reply.

I have enough ressources for sure (please refer my system description).
I also installed a brand new version of Audio Editor on a system which has never seen any installation of AVS so far.
All the same: After 132 file splittings the program crashes.

Maybe a limitation after all?

Thank you for your attention.

Best regards

Dear Brian,

There are no limitations on the number of the input files.

We recommend you to reinstall the software using the instructions from my previous message.

Pleas also repair AVS files:

1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.
2. Copy the following link to the address bar of My computer window and press <Enter>:
%COMMONPROGRAMFILES(x86)%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards

Thanks again for your fast reply!

Sorry to say, but nothing helps.
The DLL repair tool reports no error. Everything seems to be ok.

But nevertheless, I can live with that "problem".
I separate the marking list in two pieces and therefore the amount of splittings are below of 100.
I am still very happy about this feature.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
