I submitted at ticket 4/12/2012 7:58 AM and have not heard back.

I downloaded AVS Audio Editor and AVS software upgrade information to my laptop. Somehow it took away my unlimited liscence that I had with my already existing AVS Video Editor 4. Now it is in non-active mode reading 4.2 Could you please show me how I can get my video editor to work again? I am being prompted to upgrade and that my liscence has expired. But in reality I purchased an unlimited liscence. I now downloaded the newest version? Is this what I'm supposed to do??

I just want my editor to work again like before. Again all of this started when I downloaded AVS editor and software upgrade

Hello,
Does anyone know how long a reply takes from the support system? I seem to be having issues similiar to those in this thread, and its been about 48 hrs since I requested assistance via http://support.avs4you.com/Support.aspx

Is there any alternate method of communicating with AVS to resolve registration issues? (like a live-chat, or a phone number?)

I purchased an unlimited subscription (AVS4YOU Unlimited Subscription ) on 3/30/2010. It was order #<<blanked-out>>, & I recieved a license key that worked for a time.
Yesterday, I utilized the
avs video editor software, and when the program loaded, it stated I had not registered the product. I entered my key, but the video out still displayed the 'non-registered version' notice on the output.

I reviewed your online help, and downloaded the latest version (upgraded from 4.? to 6.1) and now my old projects do not work correctly, and refuse to acknowledge that I have registered.

I am using a Windows VISTA SP2 32 bit OS, which is the same computer used to purchase and use the AVS4U software. Same hard-drive, same configuration of system today as it was on 3/30/10 when unlimted subscription purchased.

I would appreciate any assistance, thanks!

Hi,

I contacted support about a week ago (at least) and I'm still waiting to hear back.

My license won't work, because it says it has been used multiple times. I explained in the
message sent to support that I have been having problems with my computers and my main desktop
has been back and forth from the shop being fixed, new hard drive etc. Each time, I have had to reinstall
my programs. I even sent in a copy of the invoice from the incompetent repair company and explained that
I was going to buy a new computer.

I have heard nothing and I need my license to work. My new computer will be here any day now. In the meantime,
I have been able to activate programs.

Some support would be appreciated.

After installing the s/w and watching the "how-to activate video", there is NOT the "activation" folder under the file "AVS4YOU" folder as shown in the "how to". I've paid for full license and really would like to start using it. Plus, I've sent a request for help to Tech Support but have not heard back yet. THanx!

I have exactly the same problem - sent messages to support, just get a "do not reply to this email" message back... and the response that you got to the same question hardly helps... Is there is anybody in AVS4YOU support today?

I have had an unlimited license for several years now. I had to replace my computer that had avs4you installed. I tried to install avs4you on my new computer but I get a message that I am not licensed for multiple computers. Is it not possible for me to transfer my unlimited license to my new computer?

Don't buy ASV4YOU software!!! If you change hardware, your license will not be moved to the new hardware, but you have to buy a new license instead!!!

Thank you for leaving the feedback.

If you update your PC, change any PC components, OS, hardrive, etc, you can still use your current licence key to activate the software.
However if you change your PC, you need additional licence. As our subscriber you casn obtain a discount for it.

What have been changed on your PC?

Hello,
I had to uninstall and reinstall the program on my laptop due to crashing problems. I am using the exact same computer I bought the software with a few years ago. It says that my unlimited subscription has expired??? I sent a message to support but it seems to be taking a long time. Can you guys please fix this as soon as possible? I have loved using the video editor and it's worked splendidly, more or less, for the past five years.

Agree. Now they want $20, because I purchased a new computer and want to use the software on only that computer. I have uninstalled the product from other machine before it went to the junk yard.
