I am trying to convert an mp4 (H.264) to DVD in order to play on a DVD player. However, when I try to load it in AVS it loads it as 00:00:00.000 and will not convert it. It loads all of the video specs correctly but it shows that it has no content and will not convert. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have included a screenshot.

Hello,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow the link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" check:

3. Download the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website:
http://avs4you.com/downloads.aspx
Now install the software on your PC anew.

Best regards.

Thank you. I shall give that a try. However, the part that confuses me is that I know it is not a codec issue. I have been able to convert other H.264 video files before. For some reason this is the ONLY one that does not want to convert. Regardless, I will give your method a try and report back. Thanks again.

Ummm - by recommending I erase my key codes you just wiped my lifetime AVS licenses, and now I have to rebuy.

Are you freakin serious?

I just downloaded the bundle and am now 'unactivated'. Lex - Is this some sort of scam?

I am trying to put the time/date stamp on my video but the subpicture catagorie isnt showing. After some research it seems that it wont put the time/date stamp due to it being in MP4 format. My camera is brand new and the only format is MP4. Is there a patch or alternative or do I need to trash AVS and go with another program? Please help.
