Dear Nicole,
I'm sorry to read such negative post. What kind of problem have you faced using AVS software? You are talking about some glitches, but what are they actually? We will be glad to assist if you describe them.
Have you also read my post above, where I explained that this dll does not affect functionality of video programs, as it is intended only to upload files to Windows Mobile devices? This dll loads successfully only if ActiveSync software is installed on your computer.
Best regards.

Hi everyone,
I've managed to find some info over the internet.
It seems that MobileDevice2ActiveSync.dll is a file from Microsoft Active Sync program. (I use it sync my pocket PC with my laptop.)
Anyways there are two possible solutions:
1) You download and install MS Active Sync and supposedly the problem should go away. (You can download the latest version from official Microsoft website here:

)
2) Or you may need to install a service pack from Microsoft it contains the above mentioned file and other essential updates. I know it's large, but I've been able to solve the problem on my PC.

Hi,
I upgraded to the 7 version and I have to say its not better than version 6.4.4.420
I restored my pc and got ver. 6 back but its missing some things, like i'm unable to convert things for my ipod and so on.
is there any chance i can get a patch or this version again so I can reinstall it?
i'm only able to convert things in customs or widescreen.
I'm running windows xp pro
Thanks for your time and help.

I have had a similar problem, but with AVS Ringtone Maker v. 1.6. It also cannot load the library. I suspect the problem may be that I have Windows 7 and it is NOT listed as a supported OS. Please advise!
Please note: I also put this out to the general support email beofre I found my way in here. Sorry if that will cause any problems.
