Suppose I have to cut the video FILE.AVI in different parts (Chapters): File_001.mp4, File_002.mp4, File_003.mp4 :

1) Chapter 1 : 00:10:00 to 00:12:00
2) Chapter 2 : 00:20:00 to 00:22:00
3) Chapter 3: 00:30:00 to 00:40:00

But I don't want the following sequences between each chapters :
1) 00:00:00 to 00:10:00
2) 00:12:00 to 00:20:00
3) 00:22:00 to 00:30:00

How do you realize that with your AVS Video Converter 8.1.2.510 ?

I combined ADD chapters and Trim Start and Trim End, but I don't get the good results. Goods results means only 3 files should be produced:
1) File_001.mp4 : Chapter 1 : 00:10:00 to 00:12:00
2) File_002.mp4 : Chapter 2 : 00:20:00 to 00:22:00
3) File_003.mp4 : Chapter 3: 00:30:00 to 00:40:00

Video converter produce 7 files instead !!!!!

Of course, Split and Split by markers had been checked, and the file to be split and convert is File.AVI.

Please tell me how do you delete the Trim section in Video Convertor version 6. It seems that this option does not exist !!!

Not true. There are markers in version 8 of Video Convertor for Trim start and Trim End but for only one 1 section. And this Trimming functionality is not working well together with Add chapters. Could you please forward the problem to your development team. You will need more expertise to understand the problem and give correct answer.

Please note! Chapters and Trim are different functions which are not connetcted with each other in anyway.

If you want to cut some episodes from your video, you should use Trim feature. If you want to split movie at some points (but not cut any fragments!) you should use Chapter and Split by Chapters.

So, if you want to cut these fragments:
1) 00:00:00 to 00:10:00
2) 00:12:00 to 00:20:00
3) 00:22:00 to 00:30:00

You should set: Trim start at 00:00:00 and Trim End at 00:10:00
Trim start at 00:12:00 and Trim End at 00:20:00
Trim start at 00:22:00 and Trim end at 00:30:00

to cut unnecessary scenes.

Then you should set chapter markers at 00:10:00, 00:20:00, 00:30:00 and mark Split by Chapters option to split video by certain points.

After that hit Convert Now.
