I have purchased the extended download service to be able to download
the software in the future when I changed OS.

That day has now come. But when I attempt to use the pre-paid service,
it is no longer available and the the 3rd party vendor says I have to work
directly with the vendor who has thus far only ignored several emails
and customer service web site form entry requests.

If ;you purchase a product which is willfully not provided, well folds
that is fraud.

I sincerely hope this form post helps to move my unanswered issue forward
within the AVS "customer service team".

I'll update the post as new info becomes available.

At this point I feel like I was ripped off and not provided the service I paid
in advance for.

I hope my experience helps you in your decision whether or not to purchase AVS products.

Having contacted avs4you support on several occasions on activation and still have not had a reply after 48 hours.The account shows active and I received the activation email code, but it does not work. The software is excellent but I am not to impressed with the support at the moment and would expect to have at least acknowledgement of the query I purchased this software because I do use it daily and have needs mounting up, so please support sort my problem out.

Why does it strike me odd that posts about registration are not allowed to be posted on this forum, but are to go to support@avs4u.com? The forum would seem to be a last resort for anyone (like myself) who have waited for days for a response from AVS support, and not heard a thing. Perhaps this is why AVS is listed as #169 out of 170 software companies by Trustpilot.

This is indeed sad, as AVS has a suite of some of the finest, user-friendly software ANYWHERE on the market. It takes a huge failure to bring down something that good; your support is doing a great job of it, and telling people that their registration complaints should only be addressed to the same failing support department only magnifies the failure.

wow! this is so helpful of you at the support team. i purchased your product on 11/13/11 and when i tried to activate my avs software i kept/keep getting an error message that says " registration failed. client computer date and time are invalid". i emailed a message the next day about it after getting no answer from the telephone support number. as of yesterday, 11/19/11, i have received no response and sent another email asking for my money back. so then i get an automatically generated response acnowledging my message. foolishly thinking that the problem had been resolved i tried activating my software again and guess what? same results as before. i dont understand how you can have a product that is so highly rated and such abysmal support!!!! as far as i'm concerned you are selling a product and then not delivering it and i believe that falls in the category of "fraud".

I have contacted the support team 4 days in a row. I have not gotten one response.
My computer died and I purchased a new one. I installed my licensed copy of AVS software and entered
my license number. It would not activate because it said it was already installed.

I contacted the support team to explain and ask for help.

Nothing. Crickets. Complete silence.

ditto previous posts about poor and non-responsive support. I've sent two queries to support about re-installing after a hard drive crash and nothing.
How about even acknowledging receipt of a support request? That would go a long ways toward easing my mind. Right now, I don't know if my requests are even in your queue!

I now have 3 messages in to you all since Monday (4/2/2012) AND NO RESPONSE! My hard drive crashed on my old machine and I am desperately trying to activate a newly downloaded copy on my new machine...PLEASE, HELP!

Are you all still in business? I'll post about my experience with t his on Facebook soon if I do not hear from you shortly...I am a legit customer who is not trying to cheat you and sdeserve better treatment!
