Hello,

I was trying to create an AVI movie. For that I want to use XVID codec. In the codec tab, two of them are almost similar. I mean MPEG - 4 ( XVID / DIVX compatable) and XVID MPEG - 4. What is the difference between them ? Which is more suitable for creating a high quality movie ?

These are practically the same codecs, the only difference is that XVID MPEG4 is an external one. The quality of files encoded with these codecs should not differ.
