I' using the paid version of AVS4YOU Video Converter 6. I have a video with a subtitle(.srt) file of the same name. And I used this Video converter 6 software to burn it into my DVD so that it's playable in DVD player. But unfortunately it didn't burn the subtitle together with the video :-( I tried other conversion beside TO DVD and TO BLURAY, it seems that it is able to merge the subtitle with the video.

Is there anyway that I can burn subtitle together with my video into a video DVD? Thanks.

When you convert a video with subtitles to formats other than DVD or Blu-ray, subtitles get saved as a subpicture in the created file which means they cannot be switched off during playback.

However, when you convert to DVD, subtitles are saved as a separate subtitle track embedded into the movie structure. So there actually must be subtitles in the DVD you have built, you just need to switch them on during playback in a player.

Ooic. How about burning 2 videos into a single DVD with separate .srt files? Will the subtitle saved inside the DVD when I burn?

Hello. I am trying to convert an AVI file to DVD format, with the AVS Converter 7. My purpose after is burn it in a empty DVD.
Well, I have subtitles in a separated srt file, so I am trying to include the srt files in the convertion, but the software doesn´t accept the subtitles srt file.
What can i do? I need the DVD with the subtitles in the end.
Thanks

Hello,

You don't need to load srt subtitles into AVS Video Converter. Please use the guide above offered by Nadin to convert avi with srt subtitles.

I hope it helps, but if you need further assistance, we are here to help.

Best regards.
