AVS Video ReMaker was not updated since March and soon we are planning to release a new and completely different version of this program. As the problem must go away with the next version, we'd rather recommend using other AVS programs for the moment given. The deadline for the new AVS Video ReMaker is not yet fixed, but as soon as it comes out, we'll drop a note in the News forum section.

Regards

I've recently heard about Ava video remaker and have downloaded the trial version. I remade two files into one but now there is no sound on the end product.
Help
Surely the trial version has sound capabilities.?

Hello,

What is the format of the files you have edited? Do they play with sound on preview in AVS Video ReMaker? If not, please open one of the files in any media player which recognize sound in them and attach a screenshot of its properties, so that we could see which audio codec is used in these files.

Should you need any assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards.

Yep, there is sound in the preview in remaker.
The file is an avchd file. A .MTS format
When I go to remake it the settings are
Video: m2ts and audio: lpcm ?
is this right as that's the only settings

Now I understand... The problem is that media player in which you playback resulted m2ts file does not support lpcm sound. Try playing resulted video with Media Player Classic or AVS Media Player.

so should it play if I put it onto a stick and play it in a dvd player that plays mkv, mpeg mp4 etc ?
If I purchase it will there be other audio options or just the lpcm ?
tried it in nero and there is sound anyway

Unfortunately, only lpcm is avaliable in m2ts format even in paid version.

Not sure about dvd player, as they usually do not support m2ts format, but blu-ray player should play it.
