I have mapped the avi and srt file in the same map, with the same name. But after selection avi file by AVS video convertor 6.2 in "advanced" the subpicture is not there. I have tested the combination avi and srt by a DivX plaer and the srt file is proper. I got subtittle's.
Why doesn't the Video Convertor detect the srt file?

Thanks,

Please attach your .srt file here. We'll do some testing to clear up this problem.
Thank you

Thank you in advance

Hi,

Attached I have two files: one srt file and one sub file.
In my dumny opinion it is a system faillure, because I don't succeed with those two file to make subtittles in combination with avi files. Í'm a beginner, but still now I could never convert a avi with subtittles.
But who knows. I am looking forward to your opninion.

Regards,

Arjen

The files still cannot be opened, unfortunately. Please could you upload them to our FTP server.
I will contact you per e-mail shortly.

Best regards

Thank you for the files. We have tested the .srt file - the subtitles from this file are recognized in AVS Video Converter (note the screenshot) when the name of the .srt file is the same as the name of the .avi saved to the same folder.

As for the .sub file, unfortunately, such subtitles are not supported by our software currently, however, our developers will do their best to implement this function at an early date.

Best regards

Thanks Nadin,

I have tried again the srt file and by your picture example I noticed that I am misled. The pop up menu shows no tittle which language is to choice. It is a empty title box. But behind the blank title box the dutch language was to choice. Only by trial I could find out.
Thanks for your support!

This will be possible in the next version of AVS Video Converter we are releasing soon.
Note the following topic, this question has already been discussed there.
