I merged three videos in Remaker, then tried to import the output file (.vrp, whatever that is- it was supposed to be an MPEG2) into video editor, but I got an error saying it was an unsupported format. Any help? Thanks.

Why would you need to use AVS Video ReMaker first? You can simply import your original files into AVS Video Editor and combine the files there - that would be much easier!
Best regards
