The problem I have is our dispatch center has a recorder for their recorded lines that the codec is no longer in existance. I am impressed with AVS Audio Converter, nothing else converts the file. The wav file they email me to listen to had to be converted. I tried all the different conversions MP3, Wav, etc. I tried changing all the bit rates etc as well. Is there a way to slow it down so it doesn't sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks? Thank you.

If you would like to change speed of your audio file (slow it down or speed up) you can use AVS Audio Editor for this purpose - just apply the Time Stretch effect to your audio track.
