Any video format (avi, flv etc), or jpeg photo format - you can drop transitions (or effect's) in, but the moment you try to play or do anything else the programme freezes.

PC config attached in Word2000

Please take just one file, import it into the program and (without adding any effects or transitions) try to play it back.
Does the program freeze?

If not, try saving the movie to any format. Is the conversion completed successfully or does AVS Video Editor freeze as well?

Hope to hear from you soon

One file or three files...they play unless you try and use transitions or effects. You cannot save file, it just freezes the programme.

This is very frustrating.

Please try saving your project with the new version of AVS Video Editor (v.4.2) which has become available on our website today. It can be downloaded from the downloads page.

Hello,

Sorry, but it is not clear... Do you use AVS Video Converter or AVS Video Editor? Please specify the format of your source files and output settings. Also, do you open files in AVS software from network location?

Finally, please specify your PC configuration (Operating System, CPU, Ram).

Best regards.

System was working great, until about 2 months ago. Now, I start a conversion process (from MPG to FLV), and it runs ok, until it hits about the 85% complete mark. Then everything starts running really slow, and then at about 90% the software crashes...every time. I get this error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoConverter\AVSVideoConverter.exe

Abnormal Program Termination

Any ideas on what is causing this. My version of the software is 7.0.2.452, purchased last year in September. I am running Windows XP Professional.

I have tried running the Repair utility, and everything is "successful" except for the avemobiledevice2activesync.dll
