I'm trying to convert .mov files to .flv. They are coming out with no audio. I tried all kinds of different audio settings and some of the predefined profiles, but to no avail.

Any of you have this same issue before?

Thanks

No response yet? I also emailed you guys and no response. I bought this program with the understanding that it would convert the files, including the audio.

I tried different output formats and it still has no audio.

I tried a different conversion program "Xilisoft", but it won't convert all my files, but at least it has some audio!

Your help file is almost non-existent. Your suport stinks. Your program stinks because it won't convert the files with audio. There is nothing intuitive that indicates turning audio ON!!!

Help please? Enjoying your Superbowl Sunday?

Sorry for the delay in reply!

First make sure you are using the latest version of the program.

Could you please attach a screenshot of the Advanced > File Information window of the program showing your input file parameters.
When you play the file in the Edit window of the program, is there sound?

That'd be great if you could send us one of the MOV files for testing. I will send you the uploading instructions on the support page.

Best regards

I have the newest version. The advanced button is greyed out. I have put in the authentication code twice successfully, just in case.

One of the files is in the process of being uploaded. It's called Validation1.mov in the john_nelson directory.

I was wondering if you were able to take a look at the file yet. I haven't found it yet, but is there some "on" setting for audio?

To: I am having the same problem. I just purchased the AVS Video editor. I downloaded the free version first, and testing it found that I was able to combine video files and convert to one .mpeg2 video file - with the AVS logo in the middle.

Now that I have purchased the software and entered the activiation code - any movie file I create has no sound once it is complete. Perfectly find sound before it is created, and then none. I put a request into customer service two business days ago and no response yet. I purchase this software wanting to use it immediately. Please tell me what to do!

Please right-click one of the files you have imported into the Media Library, open Properties and attach a screenshot of this window. Also specify the exact output preset selected.

If you play the output video in AVS Media Player, is there sound?

Hi I purchased the avs converter a few weeks ago. I tried the sample to see how it would work and it was just great. I used my son's camcorder (a panasonic with VRO files) and had no problem. The video played back fine both audio and video there was just the watermark so I decided to go ahead with my purchase. Since then I have not been able to burn any video at all that has sound. I have tried AVI files from movies and VRO files. I am not able to get a reply from support. I have tried over a week ago and got one request for more information but since then nothing. I would think that if the "free program" worked fine on my computer that the full version would too. Can anyone give me any ideas?
thanks

Please note the reply to your request submitted on the support page. Obviously, there are some problems when playing discs on your particular DVD player.

Try to play the discs burnt on your PC. If there is sound, it must be worth checking up on your DVD player settings or to try burning the movies to other discs which are fully compatible with your player.

Hi,

I try to convert a .TS file from Win TV using AVS Video Converter
As can bee seen from the attachment (MediaInfo.jpg) the audio track is AAC, so should convert fine with AVS Video Converter (ver 6.4.2.417)
When I open the .TS file in AVS Video Converter it displays on Audio!?
Plese see attachment (AVS VC 6_4.jpg)

If I open the .TS file with the video converter SW "Handbrake" I have no issues and it converts fine with no problems.

Anyome who knows what to do?

BR

Hello,

Could you please give the details about the problem:

- please specify files of what exact formats you converted;
- please specify the exact formats which you converted your files to;
- specify in what player you play resulted files.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

Hi,

I am using the latest AVS video editor and have created about an hr of editing from multiple video files (720p), photos and some areas overlayed with mp3.

When I create an output file e.g. mpeg 720p or avi 720p I lose some of the mp3 overlays. I haven't manage to get a single file created with all the mp3 ins. Sometimes does about half the file and then stops inserting the mp3s into the output, sometimes after ten minutes.

Its really annoying, having spent hours setting up the project.

Any suggestions?
