However if you change your PC, you need additional licence. As our subscriber you can obtain a discount for it.

Hmmm may you should put buyer beawre on the home page as of what is stated under Activation / F.A.Q forum and under How do I transfer my programs to a new computer?, see below of text from that forum, so another words if we buy new computer we are screwed in where we have to buy new software that actually is ours as we purchased it.
As the question of How do I transfer my programs to a new computer? should be taken into consideration how do we transfer - should be a file we can copy or something.

"According to our license agreement, AVS4YOU software is licensed on a per-computer basis. Each license is valid for one particular computer only. If you want to install and use AVS4YOU software on more than one PC or transfer the license from one computer to another, you need to purchase an additional license for every new computer.

The license agreement is stored on your PC upon installation of AVS programs. You can find it following Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > License Agreement. "

My old computer died last week and I had my son build a new one.

When I tried to register the AVS4YOU Software it said I was trying to use it on more than one computer.

I would never do such as thing and was hoping that you could remove the registration from my old machine and allow me to register the software on my new one.

I can provide the Registration Information if needed.

I bought a new computer, and I think I uninstalled AVS Video converter on my laptop so I can install it on my new Monster of a desktop machine.
I get an error that the registration failed: error: "According to our records you installed our software on multiple computer which is a breach is a breach of our lic agreement. Please buy additional Lic or contact our support team at www... to clarigy the issue.

How Do I resolve this issue? I've sent in a support ticket and I've yet to have this resolved.

I confirmed that AVS Video Converter and Audio Converter was uninstalled on my laptop. Now can someone please reset your database so I can install AVS Video converter onto my new PC.

How to receive the activation key?

You can subscribe using our registration page.

You can download the non-activated version of any program from our web site www.avs4you.com for free to test it for as much time as you like. The non-activated versions do not have any feature or time limitations. The only thing they have got is a voice logo added to the output audio files(for AVS Audio Editor and AVS Audio Converter) or a watermark on the video files (for AVS Video Editor, AVS Video Converter, AVS Video Remaker). To get rid of these you will need to activate the programs and reconvert your original audio/video/image files.

If you have installed our programs, run them and found them useful you can register and get access to all the programs we offer. You can subscribe using our registration page.

I asked about re-installing on a new computer with the old one wiped clean. The response I received is below;

"Let us clarify the license policy:
 
 If you change some components of your computer (OS, hard drive) you can use your valid license key to activate AVS programms on the same computer it was activated before.
 
 However, if you install AVS programms on another computer you should buy additional license in oder to be able to use activated versions of AVS programms on the new computer.
Each license purchased is bound to one particular computer and allows using AVS4YOU Software on that single computer."

This is my third time buying AVS Video Software. Every time has been a pain but I am invested and don't want to re-platform. This time, my computer crashed so I bought a new one and I have to repurchase the software as it does not allow me to reinstall on a different device. This is not the way support should work, you should not profit because my computer crashed and instead you should help make my life easier, not harder. Now, after repurchasing, I have been waiting for hours for an activation key to come via email, so I am stuck doing nothing while I wait for their support to provide the activation key. This is not the way online purchases should work, you should be faster than manual processing, not slower.
