Hi there, I've tried installing AVS remaker 4.0.1.125 and AVS latest version both and AVS converter the latest version and AVS editor the latest version and even tried a few older version for both but I have a problem with the splitting and preview playback. When I load the file (any file) the preview is stuck at the beginning and won't play at all. The split button is grey out until I click on the buffer bar of the preview once and split button lights up for once usage. When I split once it greys out again. Now I had this problem before but I have no idea how I fixed it. My windows got curropted and I had to re install everything.
As for codecs I've install CCCP 2011 and MS framework 3.5 and 4. I tried installing K-lite Mega pack 5.4.4 and latest version and neither worked either. my OS is 64bit but it's the same OS as I used to have when AVS problems had no problem so it can't be the OS version or anything like that.
Anyways if there is more information needed let me know.
thanks in advance

Hello,

We are glad that the problem has been solved.

Actually, the latest versions of AVS programs should work even with 16 bit color quality.

Do not they work with it? Could you please specify your operating system?

Best regards.

Hi I have just loaded up AVS Video Editor and the projects wont play - the sample project will not play, nor individual clips i bring in. The start shows on the screen. Click play, says playing but nothing happens - the preview screen doesn't alter.
I am on Windows XP P4 3.20 GHZ with 1 gig ram.
I also note that if the speed setting for the preview pane is moved either way off the 1x mode it plays (either sped up or slowed down).

i sent a question on the 4th re the support page and haven't had a reply yet.
