I would like advice on how to speed-up the video production process.

I have dedicated a PC to the production process the specification of which is 3GHz quad speed processor (AMD), video with 1 x GB memory, 4GB RAM, 1TB hard drive: a decent machine and one that is brand new. O/S is Windows XP.

I have produced a 26 minute video and want to output it in HD at 1080

The project has been 'producing' now for 2hrs and 16 min and showing with 1hr and 26min projected to do. This being a total time of approx 3.5hrs to produce.

During production, system processor and memory resources are running at approximately 25% so it doesn't look like the hardware is the bottleneck.

Is there any way to speed-up the production process?

Hello,

Sorry, but it is quite normal time to produce the project when save to HD video. Due to several problems working on multi-core processors, speed of conversion has been reduced in the latest version in favour of stability. Please note the discussion here.

I hope it clarifies.

Best regards.
