Hello,

Actually, there is no special option to compress blu-ray video in our software, however you can try converting your bluray movie to blu-ray format in AVS Video Converter. You should select lower quality profile with output settings in the Profile list, for example Blu-ray HD ready 720p - (H.264,12000 kpbs, 23.976fps), it will allow to get lower size movie on output.
As for lagging problem, please specify your PC configuration. It would be great if you attached a screenshot of it (right click on My Computer>Properties).

Best regards.

Could you please also specify where do you play resulted blu-ray video? Do you play it on stand alone blu-ray player?

Please try playing resulted blu-ray video on computer with AVS Media Player and inform us if the same lagging problem exists. To play blu-ray movie you should open index.bdmv file from BDMV folder or 00000.m2ts file from STREAM subfolder.

Regards.

I play the Blu-ray movie on the blu-ray player on the television. It has the same problem on the computer when played with the blu-ray disk. (lagging)
When we play the 00000.m2ts file from the stream subfolder, it's plain black. Nothing plays but the timer keeps going.

Hello,

Thank you for the details.

I'm asking you to do the following. Please try converting your blu-ray movie to blu-ray again, but copy your source blu-ray movie to hard drive at first and open it from hard drive (index.bdmv file) in AVS Video Converter. After conversion, please do not burn converted movie to disc. Open output folder instead and try playing resulted blu-ray movie from this output folder checking if the same lagging problem persists. Try playing index.bdmv file or the largest by size m2ts file (not 00000.m2ts). Please inform us about the results.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

The error which you get connecting to our FTP server may occur because you copy/pasted the password for ftp server with a gap. Try typing the password, not copying and pasting it.
