I am very dissapointed !
I bought a long time ago a "liffetime" License for the complete AVS System.
Unfortunately I have had an hardware-crash on my computer.
Therefore I have to replace the complete System.
Beside all the trouble I Have to reinstall the system, AVS tells me, I Have to buy [B]a complete new license[/B], but I have already one.
I am very dissapointed and I can ask You all the users to be carefull with AVS.

Of course I understand that this license is only for one hardware. But when the hardware crashes completly, there must be the possibility to reinstall
the license. Unfortunately the crash was so hard, that the repair of the existing hardware is not possible.
My understanding, and the practice with other software deliverer is, that in such an case, the license key is renewed. Microsoft etc.

To say I can use this software only on one defined hardware for "lifetime" is not very serious. Because in todays life it is not unusual, that after several years a hardware can have a breakdown.

So do I have to buy a candle in the future with a license from AVS, light it and pray that my computer does not crash, otherwise the "Lifetime License" dies with the computer? It's a nuisance!

Please note, that the license policy for AVS4YOU Software wasn't changed. There are two types of the Subscription (Unlimited (not lifetime) and 1 year)

If you change the PC or want to use the license on several PCs, you need to buy separate license for every computer. But if you update some of you PC components like OS, you still can use the license. Please see EULA and FAQ for more information.
