I have Win 11. Recently, after opening AVS Video Editor and importing a video that I tried to edit and split, the application simply froze. I have been waiting for the video to render for a long time. The video is only 3 minutes long. Every time I try to do anything after using the split option, nothing else wants to work. I tried everything I could, from restarting the program to restarting the computer, and the problems remain. Are other people experiencing the same dilemma?

Hello,
Thank you for the information,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

2. Download the latest versions of the programs from our website.

Now install the software on your PC anew.

If it does not solve the issue, please try to change the settings:

1) choose Single-Tread Conversion (Edit > Settings > Processing > Single-Thread Conversion)
2) choose Video Buffer (Edit > Settings > Preview > Video Buffer)
3) disable Show line groups and Show Sound waveform (Edit > Settings > Edit > Timeline)
4) try different Intel Media Decoder types (Edit > Settings > Acceleration > Type > Software / Hardware / Disabled) - restart the program each time you change this parameter.

Best regards!
