Hi everyone,
i've two problems with my AVS video editor: first, i can't see the project preview (play, stop and pause bottons are grey, as if they didn't work); than, the second is that I can't complete the project production: when I try to create it, it make me return at the first page after a few seconds.
I'm working with a DELL pc, windows 10 pro 64 bit, Intel Core i5-2520M, 2,50GHz, RAM 4GB

Please, download the new version of AVSVideoEditor 8.1.1 and install it. Your CPU Intel Core i5-2520M (second generation Intel Core i5, 2011 year) does not support hardware Intel Media decoder for video files with frame size larger than Full HD (1920x1080). If you try to work with video files with frame size 2K QHD (2560x1440) or 4K UHD (3820x2160), you need to use software Intel Media decoder or disable Intel Media decoder in Settings of AVSVideoEditor:
Settings -> Acceleration -> Intel Media decoder -> Type = Software - and restart the application.
If this setting does not help, try to disable Intel Media decoder:
Settings -> Acceleration -> Intel Media decoder -> Type = Disabled - and restart the application.

If this setting does not help too, try this setting:
Settings -> Preview -> Video rendering -> Use video buffer - and restart the application.

Please, send to us your AVSVideoEditor project file (.vep) - we will check it and try to correct if it is possible...
