I am trying to add subtitles to a video using AVS Video Converter 9.4.
I can drag my video into the converter.
Buy, when I try to load my subtitles (a .srt file) I get: "File Format error".

Notes:
*Video Converter has freshly checked for updates - all is current
*Both Video file and subtitles have same name - double checked
*The .srt file and video file work well in the VLC player
*My system: A very well manered Windows 10

So . . .
What must I do to fix this error?*YAHOO*
