Is there a way to change the bit race on the videos I am burning to disc? Whenever I go to build DVD it list the bitrate at 9400. When I burn the videos and watch them on my tv the video seems to lag at times and is a little jumpy like the bitrate needs to be increased. I have viewed them on my computer, and I often upload to viddyou.com and the quality is good on both.

What could be causing this?

That may be caused by PAL/NTSC compatibility. So, please try to convert video into appropriate color system.
