I have always output my video project with no problem

Produce --> File --> AVI --> Profile - HD 1080p (Or any of the others)

I also always create multiple final output to see how it my work is coming along and saving it.

All of a sudden, the output turned bad! blocky on the edges..and I don't think I touched any of the settings!

I never had any problems in the last 4 years outputting good quality HD videos. And I never had to touch the advance button.

The original files are perfect, the older version of my output work are ok.

I tried doing some test on single video's in a new project and still get the same result. (I even reinstalled the software twice)

Help!

Thanks.

Hi Li!

I'd recommend you first to completely update AVS Software and its components on your PC following the steps. This should resolve the issue.

In case it still persists, please attach a screenshot of the video demonstrating "blocky edges".

THanks for the reply. I have uninstalled. Then a clean install.

Tested 2 short clips and output fine!

Then tested my previous project and the output was blocky.

So re-tested on a new project 2 short clips and again, it was blocky.

I am not sure whether the vep can get corrupted or even affect the output? Even thought the preview is ok.

I am have attached screens shot of what I previous output and after. Thanks.

Dear Li, thank you very much for the description and screenshots! Try producing to AVI >> "Video for slideshow 1080p" profile and let me know the result.

Hello

Same results.

Again, I did a clean wipe and created the sample output after resinstalling. It was also back to normal when tested on a few video clips.

Then back to my saved vep project. It then went back to its bad quality outputs. Obviously I don't want to redo my project again from scratch or start a new project. Hoping this has happened before with other users?

Hi Li!

Thank you for cooperation. I would appreciate if you could send me the *.vep project file and all the media files used in this project. As it seems the issue appears only with this project, I need to reproduce the issue and try to solve it, if possible.

Please find the instructions on how to send me files in our Support System.

I noticed something similar happened about 30-40 seconds into this youtube video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StsOvGgSJYE

It was stitched together with AVS Video Editor. No idea what version.

Dear Kramy,

Thank you for the information.

Was it your video and you need to correct the issue? Do you have the original video files and do they have any problems?

Kind regards

It was a friend on Steam. I will ask whether the original processed video had it, or whether it showed up after being uploaded to YouTube. The source footage was perfect.
