OK I used other Editing program before......................never mind ......................but I could do many MORE things with it!

AVS....which I've used for about 18 months but now getting a bit narked......after downloading 3 versions, 2 the same, told to do by AVS!

1. I contacted AVS asking how to place a title before my clips at the beginning, they referred me to 1 of the videos that explained how to OVERLAY a title onto clips but not insert it before them? This means you loose part of the 1st clip IS IT POSSIBLE PLEASE? I guess I could create the title in Photoshop then import but why should this be required? Also I've found the title editor almost useless to use, whatever font you click on that's it can't change anything, style movement etc etc has anyone managed with it yet?
2. Also in ... I could select all objects then move all wherever I wanted them moved, HOW TO PLEASE?
3. Another problem..................how to use ROTATE OBJECT & after ALSO ENLARGE IT, AVS said it's possible to use both but I've found only 1 effect is possible on the same object? I videode a windmill portrait, rotated it OK but then wanted to enlarge it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not possible, end up with a miniature Windmill with black space round it.
4. Finally how can I expand the bars below to import more than 1 clip on the same timeline.......................IS THIS POSSIBLE? Can I add timelines or what?
5. & finally finally for the moment sometimes when replaying an objet the VIDEO hangs up but AUDIO remains playing!!!!!!!!??????
6. Oh I forgot..............are there any other helpfull FORUMS FOR THIS S/W.............

Dear user,

In answer to your questions:

1. It is possible to place a title in front of the video: add a color frame (from background folder in media library) or an image file in front of your video file, then add title from text patterns.

2. Unfortunately for now it is not possible to select all the files in media library and move them.

3. It is possible to apply both Zoom and Rotate effect to your video, you need to add an additional line for video effect - right click on the video effects line - choose Add Line.

4. If you need to add several videos on one screen, you might need the video overlay option, follow the link below to find the detailed instructions on how to use it: http://onlinehelp.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Editor/Features/EditingVideos/VideoOverlay/index.aspx

5. Actuallt by default AVS Video Editor creates cache for HD files after importing them, and playback the cached file on the preview, so the editing process may be more convenient. So we recommend you to wait till the caching process is completed.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards

Doing this via overlay option works just right fine. I never knew that it was just this simple. Thanks!
