That would work if I had thought about it in advance. As I have already saved the clips as one file, I may have found a way around the problem. Import all the edited files into video editor and either just detect scenes or multi trim and detect scenes, this makes all the scenes from each previously edited videos available in folders and can be used to make a new video. It would be even better if the folders of detected scenes could be saved. I tried re maker earlier but the scenes would not save as separate files even when that option was checked.
