Is there anyway to select multiple or a group of time-consecrutive OR random selections of clips for deletion?

I have seen this issue on the forum posted in 2011, then in 2013...
NO WAY to select MULTIPLE files!!!
I consider to use another video editor if this is not included in the near future. I paid for this, and I am very disappointed, especially because people were asking for it since xx years.
